As you are driving, your body involuntarily jumps. Sweat begins on your forehead and appears on your body, even though it is the middle of Winter. Inside of your left thigh, there is a tapping that is not harmful but noticeable. And you begin to wonder if sanity has departed or control of your motor skills is no longer your own. Then, the epiphany becomes clear. This is Revenge of the Orgasm.
A sensual and scintillating collection of Erotic Poetry from the male perspective…
I only think of you in between the blinks of my eyes.
But I have told you a falsehood.
Every other heartbeat, you inhabit my mindset as well. I
am obsessed with you.
It takes a massive amount of ego to decide to write under the pen name “Greatest Poet Alive” and as a reader its easy to see such a boast and declare that the outcome will fall under one of two categories:
1. The author will live up to their chosen name…
(or)
2. This book is going to fail spectacularly…
Poetry is a very subjective genre – I personally found this collection of poems to incredibly entertaining. The jury is still out on whether this is the “Greatest” but I’m pleased to say this collection is certainly worth the read.
There’s something particularly intriguing about the obviously male perspective giving voice to these erotic interludes… The collection of poems is a celebration of sex and the female form.
There is a beautiful rhythm to each and every piece, and the flow will keep you satisfied!
The diverse subject matter includes scenes of voyeurism, exhibitionism, light BDSM, and a few scenes of infidelity… In addition to heaping amounts of lust…
Excerpt:
Chocolate, Powdered Sugar and Strawberries
The strawberries were large and cool.
Powdered sugar was abundantly spread over the strawberries Warm was the chocolate because that is the scent it gave off. She licked, licked, licked, and licked the sugar from the strawberry’s skin
Her teeth took a bite of the cool strawberry, and the juice tasted her lips, which her tongue wiped away.
Then with her spoon, she scooped some of the warm chocolate onto her plate, dipping her strawberry into it fluently.
What a combination…
The chocolate meshed with the strawberry, upon her lips coated with powdered sugar And with aggressive intent, I watched
After she finished her third strawberry, her gaze captured mine. She asked what I was thinking.
Again, I chuckled.
In another universe or another date, I would have told her the truth. The length and width of me was supposed to be the sugar she licked off
My undercarriage and neck would be the strawberries she bit into And opposed to her dipping chocolate, I would dip, delve into her
Discretion overcame bravado I said none of that
Besides, it was just our first date.
Q&A with G.P.A.
If you were to describe your book in only one word, what would it be?
Epic
What would you say inspired you to write it?
My encounters with several beautiful women inspired Revenge of the Orgasm. Also, I believe that ROTO gave me separated the distance between myself and whoever might be second to me. Plus, most books of sensual Poetry are fantastical. These are true events written as epic poems.
Have you ever been hit by the infamous “writer’s block”? What did you do to escape it?
Writer’s block is a myth. Never experienced it.
Your all time favorite book?
The Catcher in the Rye
What made you pick that one above all others?
The story of this young man discovering himself was appealing to me when I read it. And it impacted me going forward.
What’s the longest time you’ve spent working on a project?
Five months was spent writing my third book, The Mind of a Poetic Unsub. I did this because I wanted to throw a lot of poetic muscle at my readers.
Would you say becoming an author has changed you? In what way?
I have a great purpose in life that I didn’t have before. And for me to have people that wish to read my work is overwhelming.
What does your day-to-day life consist of? What else do you do, aside writing?
I play video games, walk with Scooter the Beagle, hang with my family, work out, and watch movies.
How do you deal with bad reviews or acid criticism? What would you advise other authors to that effect?
You have to shrug it off and take it evenly. Otherwise, you will go crazy.
Is this title part of a series? Without giving us spoilers, of course, what can we expect from the next e-books/books in the series?
Revenge of the Orgasm is the third book in The Lust Series.
What do you have stored for us in the future? What are you working on/planning on next, aside this title/series?
The next book is “Summer with Bobo”, the sequel to the best selling “Hi, My Name is Bobo”.
What made you decide to become an Indie Author?
Poetry isn’t one of those genres that is highly sought after, so I really had no choice. But I dig it.
What would you say was the toughest part?
The toughest part of being an indie author is your budget is what it is, and that’s what you have to work with. From there, you do your promoting, traveling, hiring, etc.
Where is your work being distributed, Amazon, B&N, Smashwords, AllRomanceEbooks/ Omnilit, some other distributor? How did you decide which one(s) to go with?
Amazon. It was so much simpler than what I had been doing, trying to work with different people.
If you could turn back in time and do things differently, would you? What would you change?
I would have married the right woman. That makes all the difference in the world.
