This was a sweet little “I want you but I can’t have you” story between an Alpha-Male Werewolf and a curvaceous redheaded lawyer.

It was a decent short story, even if the ending was a bit rushed and anticlimactic.

I liked that the heroine, Paige, was a strong character; she didn’t cower and had a good head on her shoulders. Caleb was a sexy Alpha, his dirty talk was top shelf. When the two came together it was steamy and passionate. Since they had known each other since they were in high school, the attachment didn’t seem rushed or improbable.

It would have benefitted from an editor – in addition to the little mistakes which permitted the work, there was a moment when Caleb’s eyes were blue instead of brown/gold. It had several silly but distracting mistakes like that.

This was a sweet little BBW romance between a shy librarian and a blind WereWolf. It was cute, even if it was a little angsty at times. A merry band of misfits.

I don’t mind BBW romances when the heroine owns her body image, but Julia didn’t have an ounce of self worth. It was kind of cringe worthy to be honest. Our Big Bad Wolf Damien wasn’t much better… he had a lot of self loathing and he wasn’t the confident, dominate Alpha male I thought he should have been.

There were a ton of unanswered questions, but I’m not sure this book was really awesome enough to send me out reading the rest of the series.

I read this book as part of the Shifter Romance Boxed Set. This was an unapologetic hilarious read. It was sexy and silly and never took itself seriously. There was rude language, WereLions, tons of sex, and one seriously sassy plus-sized woman.

There was not a lot of romance, though it is technically a paranormal-romance… I’d say it was more of a Sexy Shape-Shifter Comedy. I like it for what it was. If you’re looking for substance and romance… this is probably not for you. But if you need an amusing and unique read for an evening, go pick it up! It was short, and you can buy it was part of a 99¢ Boxed Set with ten other stories, so I say Go for it!

It was a short, fun, erotic read.

I read this book as part of the Shifter Romance Boxed Set. I really liked the fresh explanation of how Tarik Evert became a WereBear. There were several steamy sex scenes and some lovely pillow talk, but other than that it was kind of a bust.

The heroine Abby Clumm is kind of ridiculous, she invites a strange naked man into her cabin…

She is fairly unfazed by discovering he can turn into a bear, and is far less afraid of teaming up with her sexy WereBear to outrun a shady group of scientists, than she is about the possibility of having a long-term relationship…
