My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Her mother is seriously ill. Her job is tiring and stressful. There is darkness within her, a craving for pain and raw, hard sex. The mysterious Club Phoenix offers Kelly Mitchell all these things.

But surrendering control at the doors of the dungeon is an addictive feeling and with each visit, she fall further and further into oblivion.

All she has to protect her are her safe words and the carefully intent eyes of the Watcher. He is Kelly’s lifeline. But will he catch her before she loses herself completely? Will he keep her safe?

Will she even want him to?

Note: This is a dark read. Happy endings are optional. While all scenes are consensual, they are filled with harsh sadomasochism, anal play and humiliation..

The All American Studs series hits Australia!

Every day is another day in paradise. Perfect, blistering hot weather, physical activity in the great outdoors, working alongside the hottest man I have ever set eyes upon. And sometime each day… blazing hot sex. Only to do it all over again the next day.

This series is utterly charming, cute, sexy, and sweet.

The first book in the series was an introduction to the fictional gay porn site All American Studs through the eyes of a down-on-his-luck young man named Atwood.

Atwood isn’t gay – at least he’s pretty sure he’s not gay – but his shitty family life has made him desperate for cash. He doesn’t have much in the way of prospects or education, but he is gifted in a way that makes him prefect for porn.

He soon finds acceptance and companionship in the form of Reece… Who winds up being his co-star during his first porn shoot. By the end of Atwood’s story, he was planning to run away to Australia with his scene partner.

I was delighted to learn that Dominique Gerard came back to this fun character for round two. The only thing that tops a sweet ‘Happily Ever After’ between two beloved characters, it’s a ‘Where are they Now’ and that’s precisely what we got with this story. The first time we met Atwood and Reece it was all hot and heavy, the sequel continues that incredibly hot dynamic and layers on the romance.

The boys are finding happiness in the middle of nowhere Australia, but outside forces are conspiring against them. Greedy family members and bigoted Aussies are threatening their Happily Ever After. Atwood and Reece need to make money fast if they’re going to save Reece’s farm.

The solution: Shoot another scene for All American Studs.
The problem: Atwood never intended to film again, and his feelings for Reece are far deeper than they were on that first shoot.

The boys grew closer in this episode of the series, but Dominique Gerard left off with a cliffhanger, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens next for All American Studs’ first couple.

Excerpt

I’ve been staring mindlessly at the arrivals and departures board for the past half hour, slapping my passport anxiously against my thigh. It was a stroke of luck that I had my entire life packed up in a single suitcase when I came to the All American Studs studio, including the passport I ordered back when I thought Jessica and I were going to sail around the world for our honeymoon. How blind I was back then. I know it’s my own fault that my life has turned out like this. I’m too trusting of people, always have been, and most likely always will. I should be more careful, but I’m not sure I can change myself so easily.

It’s the third time this afternoon that they’ve delayed our flight to Australia. I’m still excited about this adventure, but the nerves are starting to kick in. Impulsive decisions are always easier when you don’t have a chance to stop and think about what you’re doing. A few years ago I was seriously considering getting Jessica’s name tattooed over my heart, as a symbol of my undying love and devotion to her. While I sat in the tattoo parlor waiting for the artist to finish with another guy’s sleeve artwork, I came to the realization that a tattoo wasn’t going to do sweet nothing to fix what was wrong with our relationship. I went home and hid the two hundred dollars it was going to cost under our mattress instead. A week later the money was gone. That’s when I first discovered that Jessica was stealing from our savings to pay for her bad habits.

Reece taps me on the shoulder. He’d been sleeping like a baby the past hour and I hadn’t noticed him wake up. He gives me a smile, and I feel my frustrations melt away. This guy does something magical to me. I can’t explain it.

“You’ve never travelled overseas before, have you?” asks Reece.

I shake my head. I keep forgetting how sexy his accent his. Every time he opens his mouth and that hot Aussie twang comes out, I want to climb over and kiss him till his lips are bruised.

“That’s the problem with flying budget airlines,” says Reece, stretching and yawning. Fuck me, he’s got incredible definition in his arms. “They’re never on time.”

“It’s a direct flight though, right?” I ask.

“Sure …”

I let out a sigh of relief.

“But after we land in Sydney, it’s about a thirteen hour drive to Broken Hill.”

I try to appear enthusiastic, but right now I’d kill to be able to kick my feet up and relax with a cold beer and good game of football.

“You’ll have good company, and I promise we’ll make plenty of rest stops,” he says, winking at me.

The wink is all it takes for me to go from quarter mast to full sail. I sit forward in my seat to hide the bulge in my pants. Reece watches me with a stupid grin on his face.

“So who looks after the farm when you’re gone?” I ask.

“I try not to rely on my uncle, Trevor. Our neighbor is an old family friend. If I’m gone more than a couple of days he’ll make sure the sheep get fed. Everything else can wait till I get back. But It’ll be good to have another set of able hands,” he says, patting me on the shoulder. “There’s a few jobs on the farm that I can’t get done on my own.”

An announcement comes over the PA system: our flight is delayed for another hour.

“Fuck me,” I growl and slump back in my seat, forgetting about the bulge in my pants.

Reece clears his throat and mumbles, “Atwood, are you trying to bring a weapon on board with us today?”

It takes moment for me to make sense of what he’s saying. I sit bolt upright with my hands in my lap, covering my enormous erection.

“Don’t make jokes like that in an airport! You wanna get us arrested?” I say through gritted teeth.

I try to be discreet, but fifteen minutes go by and my little guy is showing no signs of going down.

“I think I’m gonna have to do something about this … uh … situation,” I say to Reece, glancing down at my crotch.

He chuckles at me. “You need a hand?”

“I’m sure I got this covered,” I reply.

“I didn’t literally mean a hand, if it makes any difference?”

I stare at Reece. I think he’s implying that he wants to join me, but I’ve never done anything like that in such a public place. What if we get caught? I glance around and see people coming and going, or sitting in chairs waiting for their flights, everyone focused on what is going on in their own little world. No one is going to notice a thing.

I give Reece the nod, and together we make our way across the departure lounge to the public restroom. Every step, my cock engorges a little bit more, straining against my zipper.

We enter the restroom and Reece pulls me inside the accessible toilet, which is sealed off from the rest of the stalls. He pins me against the wall and kisses me with tongue. It’s a strange feeling giving control over to another man.

“I had a dream about this … about us doing it in here,” says Reece, his fingers deftly opening the top button on my jeans, and sliding them down to my ankles.

“Oh yeah? And how did your dream end?”

Reece smiles like a naughty teenage boy who just discovered his dad’s stash of porn mags. He drops to his knees and curls his fist around my throbbing cock. His cool touch makes me shiver. He puts his warm lips to my cock and licks the underside of the head. He wraps the thumb and index finger of his free hand around the top of my ball sack and pulls my balls down gently. The pressure on my sack feels incredible. Every lick of the head makes my whole dick twitch, and it bounces up and down on his tongue.

I take two fists full of Reece’s curly blonde hair, and guide his lips down the length of my cock. He chokes halfway and tries to pull back for air, but I force another inch down his throat before letting him gasp for air.

“Is this payback?” he asks, laughing.

“You mean for taking my anal virginity like a dirty whore? You betcha!”

All American Studs is the debut gay erotica series from the dirty mind of Dominique Gerard. Dominique was raised in a strict, religious family that disapproved of any form of sex outside marriage. That didn’t stop her from exploring her carnal desires through private fantasies until she was old enough to liberate herself from the conservative life. As a teenager she developed an insatiable appetite for dreaming about hot men. By her mid-twenties, she learned that the one thing that turns her on more than one man — is two.

Dominique lives in Auckland, New Zealand with her partner in crime and their adorable Chihuahua named Fifi. She has a background in psychology and spends most of her day putting people into boxes.

TOP 5: Book Besties – Celebrating our Favorite Females in Modern Romance (plus a giveaway)

MY TOP 5 BOOK BFFs
Celebrating our favorite females in Contemporary Romance

There’s a lot of talk about Book Boyfriends – those delicious males that keep us company in our fantasies long after we’ve closed their books… Those gorgeous guys would be nothing without the women who back them up.

Time for a little bit of Girl Power, because none of our book boyfriends are perfect – they all needed the love and support of an amazing woman to shape them into the men we know and love.

These are the fictional women I’d love to hang out with – to spend a night on the couch drinking too much wine and swapping stories. The women who prove that this genre is more than pushover virgins and shrinking violets. These women might enjoy a little power play inside of the bedroom but they are firmly in control outside of the house. They are strong, smart, funny, and their characters elevated their respective books to something infinitely more glorious just by being themselves.

Oh, and stay tuned, because we’ve decided to make a similar Top 5 List which will feature our favorite females in Paranormal Romance in the near future. Those ladies also need to be represented!

So here are my TOP FIVE Book BFFs of the moment

Genie by Kitty French

Genie Divine
Sexually Empowered Burlesque Dancer
Role in my entourage: Group cheerleader

“Burlesque isn’t cheap, Abel, and it isn’t prostitution. It’s an age-old form of entertainment, rich in comedy and music hall tradition. It’s about striptease, illusion, art… a celebration of women. Yes, it’s suggestive. Yes, it’s sexy. But it’s not obscene, or debasing to the performer or the watchers.”

Genie is a believable, relatable, strong, smart female lead and I fell in love with her character instantly. She’s confidant and tenacious and stole my heart.

Genie is a dancer at a Burlesque Theater in London. She has an awesome attitude about burlesque, and about female sexuality in general. She truly raises her performances into an art-form… Even as Abel tries to pretend it’s something trashy. She defends her life choices, her sexuality, and her family business from the man she lusts after.

Gianna Rossi
Independent, Driven, Business Genius
Role in my entourage: The girl you call to have your back in the boardroom

“I’d face all that and more for a guy who really loved me,” I told him coldly. “But I’m not putting up with this shit from a jerk.”

In a perfect world of literary crossovers, Gianna would be hopping from book to book slapping sense into women who lose themselves in their men… Women who are so dazzled by their alpha-male that they forget they had goals of their own…

That’s not to say that Gianna was apathetic toward her relationship with Jax. She was willing to work for it – to make compromises, but she wasn’t going to sacrifice her personality for grade-A dick.

Wallbanger by Alice Clayton

Caroline Reynolds
Sweet and beautiful – Inside & out
Role in my entourage: The hostess, we meet at her place because she always has a kitchen full of baked goods.

“Now you listen here, mister,” I said, trying for a more adult tone. “I’m not going to spend every night listening to you try to crash you girl’s head through my wall with the force of your dick alone!”

The first time I met Caroline Reynolds in Wallbanger, I laughed ’till I cried. She surrounds herself with amazing girlfriends who all support each other and make fun of each other in equal measure. She handles her struggles with grace and humor.

This woman is having a bit of an early-life crisis. Her business life is booming, but her sex-life is hilariously deplorable. Absolutely disastrous. She hasn’t had an orgasm in forever – whether donated, loaned, or self-induced. Her UST is through the roof people.

To make matters worse, new neighbor seems to have the opposite problem – loudly screwing a steady stream of women on the other side of her thin bedroom wall. Her banter with Simon is fabulous. Their enemies to friends to lovers romance was full of heat, heart, and laughter.

Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren

Chloe Mills
A take-no-prisoners modern woman
Role in my entourage: The girl you call when you need, well, just about anything.

If only he would keep his mouth shut, he’d be perfect. A piece of duct tape would do the trick. I had some in my desk that I’d occasionally pull out and fondle, hoping someday I could put it to good use.

Chloe gives as good as she gets. Her boss is a total asshole for the sake of being an asshole. Their back and forth would send any intern home to bury their feelings in a pint of Ben & Jerry’s, but not Chloe Mills. Oh no, she has a pair of brass balls inside those designer power-panties. You have to be one stubborn determined lady to handle a man like Bennett Ryan… And Chloe doesn’t merely handle Ben, she brings him to his knees.

Claiming Addison by Zoey Derrick

Read the ReviewBuy the Book Banner

Addison Beltrand
Sexy, silly, confident rock chick
Role in my entourage: The girl to keep things just a little wild on a random Tuesday.

One of them wouldn’t be enough for me, but the two of them just might be too much to handle.

My imaginary relationship with this fictional character is a little strange (even to me) – She is my number one BFF, and I kind of want to be her… and, well, if we drink a little too much wine and wind up making out? I’m cool with that too. Addison has all the qualities I look for in a female MC – she’s intelligent, tenacious, confident, and effortlessly affects everyone around her.

The way she narrates her story with humor and quirkiness had me grinning from ear-to-ear. She tells her story in a way that is almost conspiratorial… Like she’s your girlfriend spilling this naughty story over cocktails at your local hangout.

William Fossett is handsome, muscular, and utterly forbidden. A kind and gentle soul, William is a pacifist in a country which is about to force every man to test the strength of their convictions.

Confused by his yearning for Fossett, Duncan will soon be forced to work out whether he dare act upon this illicit attraction to another man – and to a Commoner, no less. Gritting her teeth Jenny grimaced and gave him what he wanted; the lewd sight of her backside jiggling this way and that as he continued to spank it. His hand now felt like sandpaper on the sensitised flesh. How much longer would she have to endure this? The clamps continued to bite into her tender nipples, and as she swayed to and fro she could feel them moving with her, the ache increasing with each passing second…

If Jenny thought life was hard under the expert tutelage of Mark, being faced with a stable full of sex-starved pony girls poses several more challenges. For instance, how do you bring eleven young women to orgasm in a timely fashion? But to her surprise, tackling the problem with experimentation and enthusiasm, she finds herself enjoying the experience.

When training begins it is anything but enjoyable, however. Harnessed in pony girl tack, her body is encircled with leather, rubber and steel. It nips, chafes and rubs cruelly, especially when she’s faced with a morning of naughty games in the exercise yard.

In Book Four of Pony Tales Jenny earns herself several punishments, and is subjected to some very thorough sex indoctrination she has to submit to the whims of her groom, trainers and even the stable-hands. Will rescue arrive or will she have to beg to be released, with nothing more than her body as currency?

His name’s Gavin Caldwell, and he’s stupidly rich. Cocky. Arrogant. Ridiculously, panty-meltingly hot.

And he’s parading around our bridal suite shirtless. Pantless.

He has no freaking shame, and I have to pretend to be in love with him.

I hate him.

So why can’t I stop thinking about him?
