There is a really fun challenge going around the Internets – no, I’m not talking about the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge – It’s a challenge for readers to name the “10 Books that have stayed with me” throughout their life. I’ve been challenged by a follower to pick my 10, and it was more difficult than I originally thought… I’ll be posting my TEN very soon, so stay tuned!
I stumbled across an interesting article this week from Eliete Daily called Why Readers, Scientifically, Are The Best People To Fall In Love With and while the post was technically published last month, it’s new to me and might be unknown to you, so I thought I’d share:
“Readers, like voicemail leavers and card writers, are now a dying breed, their numbers decreasing with every GIF list and online tabloid.
The worst part about this looming extinction is that readers are proven to be nicer and smarter than the average human, and maybe the only people worth falling in love with on this shallow hell on earth.”

Ha! Booked… See what I did there? *clears throat* Sorry… What I meant to say is that our calendar is jam packed for the coming months. I’ve been careful to leave a few free days here and there for any surprise new releases, but we’re already booking dates through December 2014! :O
I’m keeping the “Request a Review” page open, but I am plenty stocked for new and exciting books in the coming weeks and months.
I’ve realized two things:
1. I might need to retire from my weekly guest post at BOM Books in 2015
2. I might need to bring in an intern and a contributing reviewer next year
