My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

All the Storm episodes in ONE Boxed Set!

Timothy Banks is Hollywood’s hottest star. He is funny, charming and utterly sexy.

I probably shouldn’t have named my vibrator after him.
I probably shouldn’t have abandoned him in the middle of a winter storm.
I probably shouldn’t have started playing BDSM games with him.

Yet I did all these things. I’m the girl who runs a pizza shop in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. Population 2700.

And I’m about to find out that Tim Banks and I live in very different worlds…

Who doesn’t fantasize about being swept off their feet by the movie star of their dreams?

As much as I wanted to be sensible, I wanted to do this. I wanted to run away with Tim Banks into the sunset. Just like a fairy tale. Even though fairy tales weren’t real.

Sexy and Adorable. You gotta love box sets for the simple fact that you get the WHOLE story from beginning to end. No waiting for the next book in the series, no fretting over cliffhangers…

Just you,
Five books,
One Smokin-hot movie star,
and a whole duffle bag full of sex toys…
Not YOUR sexy toys, Timothy banks comes with his own arsenal…
But, ya know, if you feel the need to break out a bag of sex toys after reading The Storm Box set, I wouldn’t be surprised 😉

Tim and Tessa are such fun characters – their first interactions were charmingly awkward, and I really felt a connection between them as they got to know one another… Not in an insta-love kind of way, it just seemed like these two could be really perfect for each other, and watching their relationship evolve was a treat.

Yes there’s romance brewing in a small town in Nova Scotia where a Hollywood film crew has set up shop for the winter.

Tessa Aubrey

All my life I never understood why romance novels talked about dangerous men as if they were a sexy thing, But when I looked into Timothy Banks’ eyes, I realized why. He wasn’t dangerous. His smile had been friendly, his manner faultlessly polite. But the clear blue waters of the ocean conceal an undercurrent that can pull you under and cause you to drown, and I saw that danger in the storm that was Timothy Banks’ eyes.

Tessa holds the sole POV for the series – She’s just the kind of female MC I love to read – Smart, silly, mature, and perfectly confident in her kinky predictions.

Tessa runs a combination pizzeria/coffee shop in her sleepy little town. She works all day and spends her free time painting in her little apartment above her business. It’s a quiet, simple life, and that’s exactly how she wants it.

Until a storm brings the most jaw-droppingly sexy man she’s ever seen right into her life…

Timothy Banks

“Once upon a time,” he continued, “I would believe that people are inherently nice and good, unless proved otherwise. Now, it seems like I am mistrustful until trust has been earned. And I hate that about myself.”

If there was any insta-love in this series, it was my immediate adoration of this character – He shattered so many overused stereotypes and was just plain dazzling.

Timothy Banks might be a ridiculously sexy movie star with a swoon-worthy accent, but he’s also just a regular guy. No weird controlling tendencies – well, outside the bedroom anyway – he’s so nice and unassuming and it is impossible not to like this guy! Tessa never stood a chance….

The sexual chemistry between these two was off the scales – even if their brains took a moment to catch up 🙂

There were more than a few laughs and warm-fuzzies to balance out the steam being generated by this series.

We’ve got a playful, light BDSM sexual dynamic that was drool-worthy. The kink increases a little more with each book, and all the variety keeps the reader on their toes.

Tessa and Tim are dynamite in private, but Tim is a celebrity, so he’s very much in the public eye. Nova Scotia might be light-years away from Hollywood, but it is not too far for the paparazzi to catch up with Tim.

Tessa has no idea how to navigate a pseudo-relationship with the heartthrob movie star of her dreams, but she’s determined to soak up every last moment she can with him before his film crew leaves her sleepy little town.

The Storm box set explores themes of
Love,
Lust,
Trust,
Honesty,
& Forgiveness…

I smiled,
I laughed,
I swooned,
I squirmed…

I LOVED IT!

This series was just fabulous!
If you prefer your romance to be between two mature adults,
If you like your female main characters to be smart, sassy, and adventurous,
If you love your leading men sweet on the surface and dominant in the bedroom…

If you have a lusty crush on a certain British actor named Tom Hiddleston… Because let’s get real for a second, there isn’t any other human on the planet who more closely resembles this character – Sweet, kind, funny, humble, charming, effortlessly sexy, and who (we hope/assume) enjoys doling out a good spanking in the bedroom – Yeah, It was Tom Hiddleston’s voice playing in my head as I read Timothy Banks’ delicious dialogue… Couldn’t have been anyone else 🙂

Side Note: If you’re curious about the Storm box set, but you’re not quite ready to commit, the first book, Storm: The Hottest Guy in Hollywood FREE on Amazon. There’s really no excuse to pass this up – #OneClick this bitch and find out why Timothy Banks is my new Book Boyfriend!

Excerpt:

“Want to play a game, Tessa?” he asked me, looking over the rim of the glass of red wine I’d handed him.

“What kind of game?” Could he hear the shaking in my voice? I hadn’t been with a man for over a year. Could he hear the need, the want, the nerves?

He smiled at me, his eyes amused. “One where you do what you are told.”

I hadn’t been living under a rock. I’d heard of BDSM. I’d even watched clips on the internet, with mingled fear and fascination. Back in Toronto, I’d asked a couple of boyfriends to spank me, and very much enjoyed the proceedings. But those were with people I knew well. As gorgeous as Timothy Banks was, as nice and charming, I didn’t know him at all.

But yet, I was here alone with him in my apartment. He had at least fifty pounds of hard, lean muscle on me, and I had asked him back to my place without a second thought.

“You look nervous,” he remarked. “It’s just a game. You can stop it at any point if you want out.”

“You aren’t going to turn into some mean Dom in a leather vest then?” I quipped. I heard the nerves in my voice.

He burst out laughing. “I think I’d look like a complete wanker in a leather vest,” he said.

“Okay,” I replied, my tension eased by his laughter. “I’ll play.”

“Okay, Sir,” he corrected, and I bit my lip as my body reacted to his tone. Serious. Stern. Delicious. He didn’t turn into a mean Dom in a leather vest, this was true, but there was still the seriousness in his voice when he told me to call him Sir.

I should have been concerned. I was only aroused.

“Yes Sir,” I said softly.

His lips quirked. “Take off your clothes, Tessa,” he directed me, leading me by my shoulders to my bedroom. “Lie on the bed.”

I wasn’t sure if I was to get completely naked, or keep my underwear on. I asked him, and he inclined his head at me, considering. “Leave them on for a while,” he said.

I stripped to my bra and panties, plain, serviceable black, wincing a little as they came into view. Hollywood glamour I wasn’t. But sharp lust rose in his eyes and my fears were quieted. This gorgeous man didn’t attempt to conceal his desire for me, and I wasn’t going to let some bullshit insecurity derail the moment.

He watched me as I got into position. “Spread your legs and arms,” he said. “I’m going to tie you up.” There was a question in his voice. A waiting for my tacit consent.

“With what?” I asked him.

He looked at me steadily, waiting for me to realize my mistake.

“With what, Sir?” I corrected myself.

He smiled at me. “Let’s remember the right way to address me, shall we?’ he said in that sexy accent that resonated through my body. “To answer your question, Tessa, I’m assuming you have scarves in your apartment somewhere?”

I nodded and inclined my head towards my dresser. “Top right drawer,” I said. Too late, I realized that the same drawer also held my vibrator and other sex toys. He opened the drawer, and then raised his eyebrow at me, an honest-to-goodness smirk on his face.

“We’ll have to talk about this later,” he said, holding up my dildo. I fought against burying my face in the pillow in acute embarrassment. Thankfully, he dropped the subject. “Now, let’s see…” He grabbed a handful of light scarves in his hands, and came towards me.

“Have you heard of a safe word, Tessa?” he asked me, and I nodded. “Now, I very much doubt if we are going to be playing with the intensity that would normally require a safe word,” he said. “But you should pick one nonetheless.”

Why?” I asked. “If you are going to murder me, Sir, a safe word is hardly likely to stop you.”

He regarded me with silent astonishment for a minute then he burst out laughing. “Trust me,” he said dryly. “I’ve put too much work into my career to have it be derailed by an inconvenient murder investigation.”

Hello, I’m Tara Crescent. By day, I’m a mild-mannered corporate drone in Toronto, but by night, I’m limited only by my imagination; I sit and I type, and I am a daring writer of BDSM, erotica and romance.

I’m a huge believer in happily-ever-after, but tempered by real life, where happily-ever-after is possible, but takes work.  My favorite kind of romance stories are ones that are somewhat believable; I like strong men and women who know what they want out of life, and are driven to get it.

In my spare time, I write of course. I also read, garden, travel, cook, and almost never clean. I just started watching Walking Dead on Netflix (zombie erotica, anyone?), and I’m impatiently awaiting the next episode of Doctor Who. (I would kill for a TARDIS.)

From time to time, I blog about what I’m writing at my blog. The blog is also where I post book excerpts; highlight information about upcoming promotions, and so on and so forth. Follow me there to keep up with all the fun! (Oh, and sign up for my mailing list – I send out free stories every month or so.
